About Us

God's "Promyss" is here.

God's "Promyss" is here.
After suffering two still births and a miscarriage, Byron and Charnika kept the faith and held fast to God's word and His promise. They believed the Lord's vision of a baby girl and on January 26, 2013 the Elliott's became the proud parents of Promyss Noelle-Rena' Elliott born at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Byron and Charnika Elliott lost twice what they desired most in life. They had to face the unbearable of burying two beautiful baby boys, Noah Charles-Alexander Elliott delivered on July 9, 2003 and Christian Noel Elliott delivered on May 27, 2004.

The couples strong faith and relationship with the Lord brought them through and out of the storm. Later in 2004, God planted in them the vision of the Noah-Christian Community Center designed to target socioeconomic challenged youth. They began with a memorial fund, which rapidly grew until they were operating in the vision by holding several youth and family events. The largest event held by the center was the Angels of Hope Charity Walk which is an annual event.

Charnika is a former inner-city elementary schoolteacher and Byron is a Supervisor for the Salem City Sign Shop. Two ordinary people seeking purpose in life and instilling hope in the lives of local children and their families.

The love of Jesus is truly with them and in them. Its evident that God’s hand is over this life-changing ministry.
